On Thursday at 3:45am is the time I woke up to go to O'Hare Airport just to get on to a plane flying to Anchorage, Alaska. It was a 6 hour flight and boy what an adventure that was, not. We landed at 1:30 in the afternoon or 4:30 Il. time. When we got to the hotel, which only had one floor, we dropped off our stuff then went to this phone store called GCI. Slim got my rental phone and upgraded his phone (Which he cant still figure out how to work.) So anyways we got my phone and slims which took a hour and cost 5 people to leave the line because it was taking that long. After we got the phones we went to the restaurant "The SeaGlalley" with Slim, Meg, Greg, and Tamie. Of course myself too. I got King crab legs and steamed oysters. I ate like a quarter of the food. Meg and I got back to the hotel and cut the night short while Slim and Greg went to go see a movie. That night was tough. Friday morning I woke up at 10:00 am and took a quick shower to get ready to see Billy my "brother". We met him and his fiancé Charity at TGIF where we had lunch. After lunch we dropped Meg at the hotel so she can rest and went to the movies with Billy and Charity. We saw This Is 40, funniest movie I have almost seen Ted is way better. :) After saying goodbye to the gang we went back to the hotel to rest up for our night with Nana. We got to her house which was 20 minutes away. As slim says nothing in Anchorage is more then a 30 minute car drive. Nana has 3 dogs Cupid also known as stupid from Slim Summer but her full name is Sexy Sadie Summer Solstice which we had a good laugh at. We were like call her Sexy you would be in the front saying Sexy come girl come good doggy SEXY COME, and a guy comes and says you called. Hahahahah. We had a good laugh. Nanas last dogs name is Duffy and her full name is Duffia. After hanging at Nanas house we went to dinner at Kobe's Japanese Steak House where they cook at your table. It was a long, different, and very cooled day, but a fun one. Saturday we caught a 12:30 flight to Bethel which I was in a jet that fit 70 people and half the plane fit cargo and the other people and babies which were all around us screaming there heads off the whole way. We arrived in Bethel at 2:00 pm but not all my luggage did one bag with all my snow stuff and accessories were in that bag which I need snow stuff to legally go to Hopper with. Well luckily weather was bad and got to stay a night and got some snow gear. Boy some first day in Bethel. Well we met Cozmo, his wife Christine, and Aodia which I knew at camp and lost my luggage but only because he is a baggage handler in Bethel not because he actually did I do still blame him though. We just went to the old hotel restaurant. The next morning we went to the airport at 11:30 am to check in. No sign of luggage yet. We got on to the "plane" and boy that was so freaky that little plane that sat 9 people was so scary it moved and jostled everywhere. When we landed it was 1:30 and we had to wait for 20 minutes for a snow machine to arrive because the school one broke. eventually 3 came with dog sleds. Well of course the one Slim and I were on was one that people race with so we got snow flying at us not even expecting it and got covered in a inch of snow. When we got out we were so cold but had a good chuckle with a few other teachers. Finally we got inside and I got my room ready it has Lambo posters a ps3 and turtle posters it is so cool and gorgeous. Today Monday I went to the school and here is when my Idiot Uncle comes in, I got cooled and I drove the 4 wheeler with Slim behind me, so I got cooled and wanted gloves and a hat so we got home and Slim forgot his keys inside the house in his bag which he had to grab so we drove back and asked for Megs keys she asked for her water bottle which was at the house could get . I drove back to the house with Slim and got the bag, the gloves hat, and the charger to my computer. I asked Slim 4 times if we had everything and he insisted we did. We got back to the school and I asked If we grabbed the water bottle and he said no so we had to drive all the back to the house just for @#%^ water bottle. I was pissed off after having to drive 5 times. when we got there we got a call finally saying I get my bag back. After about 10 minutes of walking around being bored a teacher named Scott asked if I played Minecraft and that he played so I was in his room playing Minecraft with a teacher who was supposed to grade papers. After "school" we came home watched Grease and Slim and I are hanging out now.

Please let him know that we are proud of him for taking on such an adventure! I am so happy to see his writing, I'm sure you are storing everything he writes into some sort of journal that he can reference in the future. I will be so jealous if he sees the Northern Lights before I get a chance! :)
